Ingredients
100 g | Gruyere cheese, in slices |
800 g | potatoes, peeled and sliced |
salt and freshly ground black pepper | |
250 g | single cream |
butter | |
freshly grated nutmeg |
Instructions
Layer the potato slices into a buttered casserole dish and layer in between every now and then a slice of the cheese until all is well distributed. Season the cream with salt and pepper and pour the cream over the potatoes.Bake in the preheated oven at 150°C for approximately 1 hour.
Serve with fresh green salad.
