Portobello burger recipe details
Ingredients
2 large | wholemeal hamburger buns, toasted |
2 large | portobello mushrooms, fans removed |
2 clove(s) | garlic, chopped |
1 medium | green pepper, sliced |
1 medium | onion, sliced |
¼ tsp | mixed herbs |
3 tbsp | extra virgin olive oil |
Instructions
Combine one tablespoon olive oil, green pepper, onion and garlic and sautè for three minutes until soft.Coat portobello mushrooms with remaining olive oil (both sides) and grill two minutes each side until cooked; mushrooms will soak up oil.
Slice the buns in half and toast, then fill buns with one mushroom and veggie filling.
