Port wine sauce with grapes recipe details
Ingredients
125 ml | port wine |
10 | red grapes, seedless, cut in halves |
1 | shallot, peeled, chopped finely |
1 tbsp | butter |
1 tbsp | redcurrant jam |
salt and pepper, to taste |
Instructions
Heat butter in a sauce pan and sauté shallot until translucent. Deglaze with port wine and stir in the redcurrant jam. Add grapes and simmer over medium heat for about 4 minutes. Season to taste with salt and pepper.Great with duck.
