Pork stew with summer vegetables recipe details
Ingredients
300 g | pork neck, cut into 2cm cubes |
5 medium | potatoes, peeled and cut into 2cm cubes |
100 g | green beans, trimmed and halved |
2 | tomatoes, chopped |
1 | corn on the cob, shucked |
5 small | young carrots, peeled and sliced |
1 | onion, chopped |
1 clove(s) | garlic, chopped |
5 sprig(s) | parsley, chopped |
1 sprig(s) | mint, finely chopped leaves |
2 sprig(s) | savory, chopped leaves |

salt and freshly ground pepper | |
chilli powder | |
50 g | piquant goat’s cheese, crumbled |
Instructions
Heat oil in a saucepan and fry the onions, garlic and the meat until golden brown. Add potatoes and stock and season with salt, pepper and chilli powder. Cover with a lid, bring to a boil and cook for 10 minutes. Add carrots and beans and cook for another 10 minutes until the beans are soft, but still a bit firm to the bite. Add corn, tomatoes and herbs, bring to the boil again and cook for another minute. Adjust seasoning.Ladle the stew into soup plates and sprinkle with the goat’s cheese. Serve immediately.
