Pork fillets in beer and onion sauce recipe details
Ingredients
pork fillet | |
Dijon mustard | |
olive oil | |
For the onion sauce: | |
2 medium | onions, sliced |
200 ml | beer |
100 ml | beef broth |
1 tbsp | cornstarch |
Instructions
Coat pork with Dijon mustard.Heat oil in a frying pan and fry each side 3 minutes. When done, remove from pan and keep warm.
Sauté onions for 2 minutes. Add beef broth and sauté for another 3 minutes, stirring frequently.
Pour in beer, cover, and cook over very low heat for about 10 minutes.
Blend cornstarch with small amount of water, stir into sauce, cook until thick and bubbly.
Pour over pork and serve.
Serving suggestions:Serve with mashed potatoes and a green salad.
