Pork chops with brandy cream sauce recipe details

Ingredients
Serves: 4- 3 tablespoons butter
- 4 (6 ounce) boneless pork chops
- 3 pears, peeled and chopped
- 3 tablespoons chopped shallots
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 3 tablespoons brandy
- 1/2 cup heavy whipping cream
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon rubbed sage
- 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Preparation method
Prep: 20 mins | Cook: 10 mins1. Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add pork and cook until browned on both sides, then set on a plate and cover with foil.
2. Add pears and shallots to the skillet. Cook for about 4 minutes, until tender, then stir in garlic and cook for 30 more seconds. Turn off heat, add brandy, then turn heat back up to medium and cook until the brandy reduces down to a glaze.
3. Add cream, salt, sage, thyme, and pepper. Warm through, then add the pork chops. Place a lid on the skillet and cook for about 10 minutes, flipping midway through cooking time, until pork chops reach an internal temperature of at least 145 degrees F.
