This easy dinner recipe could become a fall favorite, with sweet and tart flavors balancing well for perfect pork chops.

Ingredients

Serves: 4
  • 4 bone-in pork loin chops
  • 4 teaspoons olive oil
  • 3/4 cup apple cider
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons cider vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 teaspoons prepared mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger

Preparation method

Prep: 20 mins | Cook: 20 mins

1. Pour 3 teaspoons oil into a large skillet and set over medium-high heat. Add the pork chops and sear in hot oil, turning to brown both sides. (Pork won’t be cooked through yet.)
2. Whisk cider into brown sugar, vinegar, soy sauce, garlic, mustard, and ginger in a bowl. Add to the skillet where the pork chops are.
3. When cider boils, turn heat down to low and place the lid on the skillet. Simmer for about 20 minutes to finish the pork.
