Pork chops in wine sauce recipe details
Ingredients
salt and freshly ground black pepper | |
4 | boneless pork chops |
45 ml | vegetable oil |
150 g | onions, chopped |
250 g | mushrooms, sliced |
1 tbsp | raisins |
1 pinch(es) | cinnamon |
250 ml | red wine |
Instructions
In a pan heat the oil. Fry the pork chops until browned on both sides. Set aside. Add the mushrooms and the onions into the pan and fry until golden browned. Return the pork chops and add the wine and the raisins. Season with salt, pepper and cinnamon.Cover and braise over low heat until the meat is very soft. Serve with mashed potatoes.
