Pork casserole with apples and cider recipe details
Ingredients
4 | pork chops |
1 | cooking apples, cored, sliced |
2 medium | onions, chopped |
60 ml | cider |
2 clove(s) | garlic, minced |
750 g | potatoes, peeled, sliced |
olive oil | |
butter | |
salt and pepper, to taste |
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 180°C.Fry the pork until brown on the outside.
Place the browned pork in a casserole dish and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Place the garlic on top and then cover with the apple and onion slices. Pour in cider and place the potato slices as the last layer. Dot with butter and cover with lid. Alternatively just cover with aluminum foil.
Place in oven and cook for 3 hours.
