Ingredients
4 | plums, pitted, halved, cut into wedges |
150 g | sugar |
¼ tsp | vanilla extract |
2 | Shortbread cookies, crushed |
120 ml | water |
whipping cream, whipped, for garnish | |
fresh plum jam, for garnish |
Instructions
Simmer water in a small saucepan over low heat and add the sugar. Stir until sugar dissolves.Cool slightly, add vanilla extract and stir well. Pour syrup over fruit.
Chill for at least 2 hours before serving.
Spoon fruit with 2 tbsp of the syrup into serving dishes and sprinkle with cookie crumbs. Top with fresh plum jam and whipped cream, if desired.
