Ingredients
3 kg | plums, pitted, halved |
180 g | bread crumbs |
100 g | brown sugar |
juice of 1/2 lemon | |
200 ml | orange juice |
Instructions
Preheat oven to 180°C. Grease the base and sides of a baking dish with some of the butter.Cover the base of the baking dish with some of the breadcrumbs. Put a layer of plums in the dish, cut-side up, sprinkle with some of the sugar and a little lemon juice. Dot with more butter.
Continue like this until all the ingredients are used up. Finish with a layer of breadcrumbs and placing a few dots of butter on top. Pour over the orange juice and bake for 40-45 minutes. Serve immediately.
