Ingredients

8	chicken pieces, wings, breasts and legs
1 large can(s)	pineapple rings, (440g), syrup drained and reserved
1 tsp	salt
2 tsp	garlic, crushed
2 tbsp	cake flour
1 tsp	piri – piri powder (chilli)

Instructions

Preheat oven at 180°C.

Rub salt and garlic into chicken portions. Mix flour and peri-peri powder and sprinkle over chicken.

Place chicken portions on a greased oven-proof plate and pour syrup reserved from the tin over the top.

Bake for about 60 minutes or until lightly browned, spooning syrup over chicken about twice. Turn chicken over halfway through cooking time.

Place pineapple rings on top of chicken and bake for further 15 minutes. Serve with rice.
