Pineapple meatballs recipe details

Ingredients
Serves: 12- 1 1/2 pound extra lean hamburger
- 1 egg
- 1 cup bread crumbs
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1 can (13 ounce) pineapple chunks
- 1/3 cup vinegar
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 small freen pepper chopped
Preparation method
Prep: 30 mins | Cook: 30 mins1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
2. To make the meatballs, mix hamburg, egg, bread crumbs, salt, pepper and milk into a large bowl. Form into balls and put on baking sheet. Cook for approximately 20-25 minutes. Remove meatballs from oven and set aside.
3. To make the sauce, mix brown sugar, cornstarch, pineapple juice, vinegar and soya sauce in a saucepan. Heat to a boil stirring constantly. Add pineapples and green peppers. Reduce heat and simmer for 3-4 minutes until green peppers and pineapples are tender.
4. Pour the sauce over the meatballs and stir.
