A refreshing, tangy coleslaw. This is my best attempt at recreating a popular local restaurant’s recipe.

Ingredients
Serves: 8- 1 (16 ounce) package shredded cabbage (coleslaw mix)
- 1/4 cup chopped red onion
- 1/4 cup chopped celery
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
- 3/4 teaspoon fresh-ground pepper
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1/4 cup buttermilk
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons red wine vinegar
- 1 small (6 oz) can pineapple juice
Preparation method
Prep: 10 mins | Extra time: 2 hours, chillingCombine the cabbage, onion and celery in a large mixing bowl.
In a separate bowl, combine remaining ingredients; stir until smooth.
Pour milk mixture over the cabbage, onion and celery.
Stir well, cover with plastic wrap, and refrigerate at least 2 hours. Taste and add additional sugar if needed.
