Ingredients
250 g | flour, plus extra for rolling |
230 g | butter |
1 tsp | salt |
1 tsp | sugar |
6 tbsp | water |
Instructions
Combine flour, salt, and sugar in a blender and pulse to mix. Add butter and mix again. Add ice water 1 rbsp at a time, mixing until mixture just begins to clump together.Remove dough from machine and place in a mound on a clean surface. Gently shape into 2 discs. Knead the dough just enough to form the discs, do not over-knead.
Wrap each disc in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, and up to 2 days.
Remove one crust disc from the refrigerator. Let sit at room temperature for 10 minutes.
Roll out with a rolling pin on a lightly floured surface.
Carefully place onto pie plate and gently press the dough down to line the bottom and sides of the pie plate.
Add filling to the pie crust.
