Pickled Cherry Tomatoes recipe

|500 g||firm ripe cherry tomatoes|
|500 ml||white wine vinegar|
|150 ml||apple juice|
|1 tsp||salt, heaped|
|2 clove(s)||garlic, sliced|
|2||red hot chilli peppers, chopped|
|1 tsp||fennel seed|
|1 tsp||mustard seed|
Wash and pat dry the tomatoes and prick each tomato several times with a wooden toothpick. Put them into sterilized jars.
Bring vinegar, apple juice, chilli, garlic, salt, sugar and the seeds to a boil and cook for approximately 5 minutes. Strain into another saucepan and bring to the boil again. Pour the hot liquid over the tomatoes and seal. Cool and store at a dark and cool place. Leave to steep for 2-3 days before serving.
