Philly cheesesteak kabobs recipe details

Ingredients
Serves: 4- 4 tablespoons butter, melted
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 1 cup milk
- 1 cup shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
- Salt and pepper
- 1/2 pound sirloin steak, cut into 8 strips
- 1 green bell pepper, cut into 16 pieces
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 6 ounces crusty bread, cut into pieces
- 12 metal skewers
Preparation method
Prep: 25 mins | Cook: 10 mins1. Preheat grill to medium-high.
2. Place 2 tablespoons butter in a saucepan and set over medium. Add flour and stir for about 1 minute, then add milk. Continue to cook and stir until the sauce thickens, then add cheese, salt, and pepper. Turn heat off.
3. Toss steak and bell pepper with vegetable oil and place on 8 metal skewers. On remaining 4 skewers, place the bread cubes. Coat with remaining melted butter. Sprinkle all with salt and pepper.
4. Place skewers on the grill and cook for about 7 minutes to brown well. Turn every few minutes to cook evenly.
5. Serve with sauce.
