Ready in: 45 mins
Ingredients
Makes: 1 pizza- 1 pound pizza dough, (we use a home-made beer dough)
- 1 1/2 cups Alfredo sauce (optional)
- 3 slices deli roast beef, cut into strips
- 1/2 cup diced fresh mozzarella
- 3 slices provolone cheese
- 1/2 cup chopped green bell pepper
- 1/2 cup caramelized onion
- 1/2 cup sliced fresh mushrooms
- 2 tablesoons butter
- 1 tablespoon minced garlic
- 1 (1 ounce) packet au jus sauce mix (optional), prepared according to packet instructions
Preparation method
Prep: 15 mins | Cook: 30 mins1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Grease a baking sheet.
2. Roll out dough into a large rectangle and place onto the baking sheet. Bake in the preheated oven for 15 minutes. Pull out dough–if it is not getting a little brown, leave in for a few more minutes.
3. Spread a thin layer of Alfredo sauce evenly over the crust. Then add roast beef, mozzarella, provolone (so it covers the pizza), and top with the peppers, onion and mushrooms. Put back in the oven for 10 minutes.
4. In the meantime put butter and garlic in a small glass or plastic dish and microwave on High until butter is melted, about 30 seconds.
5. Pull pizza out after 10 minutes and brush garlic butter on crust and pizza. Put back in oven until cheese is melted and crust is golden brown, about 5 more minutes. Serve with the hot au just sauce for dipping.Tip
Cook time/oven temp may change depending on your oven and what you use to cook the pizza on- I use a pre-heated pizza stone.
