|900 ml||freshly brewed coffee|
|30 g||cocoa powder|
|180 g||granulated sugar|
|½ tsp||peppermint extract|
|whipping cream, whipped|
InstructionsBrew the coffee and set aside.
Combine the cocoa powder and sugar in a medium sauce pan and whisk until blended together. Add the water and whisk again.
Stir in the peppermint extract. Place the pan on the stove and simmer over low heat. Slowly add the milk and continuously whisk the mixture until the sugar thoroughly dissolves. Add the coffee into the sauce pan and stir well.
Pour the finished drink into large mugs and top with whipped cream if desired.
