Mocha and ginger christmas log recipe details
Ingredients
75 ml | castor sugar |
125 ml | instant coffee powder |
500 ml | fresh cream |
125 ml | Old Brown sherry |
200 g | ginger biscuits |
gold and silver balls to decorate |
Instructions
Beat together the sugar, coffee powder and cream until stiff. If your instant coffee is granulated, first crush to a fine powder.Pour the sherry into a saucer. Dip the cookies in the sherry one by one.
Sandwich the cookies together with a little whipped cream mixture and arrange them in a long roll on a plate.
Cover the outside of the roll with the remaining cream. Draw lines with a fork so the dessert resembles a log and decorate with silver and gold balls.
Keep this one away from the kids……
