Pepper and onion chicken recipe details
Ingredients
4 | chicken breast, skinless, boneless |
3 tbsp | olive oil |
6 tbsp | balsamic vinegar |
2 large | onions, thinly sliced |
250 ml | chicken broth |
1 tbsp | flour, all-purpose |
1 | red bell pepper, cut into thins strips |
2 | carrots, sliced |
Instructions
Place chicken in a baking dish and pour vinegar over chicken breasts. Turn chicken to coat well. Set aside for 5 minutes.Warm some oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the onions and cook, stirring occasionally, until onions begin to brown.
In another skillet, warm the remaining oil over medium-high heat. Drain the chicken from the vinegar marinade and add to the pan, cooking about 5 minutes on each side.
While chicken cooks, add broth to onions, and cook until most of the liquid has evaporated.
Stir in the flour, carrot, bell pepper, vinegar, and cook until the pepper and onions are tender, about 10 minutes.
