Pecan coffee cake recipe details
- Ingredients
- 1/4 pound of butter or margarine
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 3 eggs
- 2 cups all purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 cup sour cream or plain yogurt
- Topping
- 2 Tablespoons butter
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 Tablespoon flour
- 1/2 cup pecans
Using the large bowl of your electric mixer, cream the butter with the sugar. Add the eggs, one at a time. Add the dry ingredients alternately with the sour cream until well blended. Pour into a greased 13 x 9 x 2 inch baking pan. Topping: cream together brown sugar butter, cinnamon and 1 tablespoon of flour and pecans. Bake in 350 degrees for 30 minutes or until tests done.
