Peanut butter fingers recipe details
- Ingredients
- 1/2 cup oleo
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 egg, unbeaten
- 1/3 cup peanut butter
- 1 cup flour
- 1 cup quick oats
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
- 6 ounces chocolate chips
- Topping:
- 1/4 cup peanut butter
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 2 to 4 Tablespoons milk
Cream sugars and oleo. Blend in egg, peanut butter, soda, salt and vanilla. Stir in flour and oats. Spread in greased 13 x 9-inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes. Sprinkle with chocolate chips (add chips after baking). Heat will melt chips
Combine topping ingredients; drizzle over bars. Cool, then cut.
