Ingredients
370 ml | evaporated milk |
300 ml | water |
120 g | granulated sugar |
1 tsp | vanilla |
5 tsp | nutmeg, ground |
5 tsp | almond extract |
some | salt |
4 slice(s) | bread, buttered |
2 large | egg(s) |
ripe and fresh or thawed peaches, sliced, sugared |
Instructions
Beat eggs with sugar, nutmeg, vanilla, almond extract and salt. Mix together milk and water and beat into the egg mixture. In a greased casserole, layer the bread, milk mixture, and peaches until all ingredients are used.Bake at 180°C for 30 to 40 minutes until knife inserted near centre comes out clean.
