Peach barbecue sauce recipe details
Ingredients
900 g | peaches, fresh or canned |
300 ml | vinegar |
1 clove(s) | garlic, crushed |
2 tbsp | Dijon mustard |
3 tbsp | lemon juice |
1 tbsp | Worcestershire sauce |
¼ tsp | black pepper |
200 g | brown sugar |
180 ml | maple syrup |
2 tbsp | cornstarch, dissolved in water |
Instructions
Purée peaches in a blender until smooth.Mix cornstarch with a little water.
Combine all ingredients in a large saucepan and cook over low heat, stirring occasionally. Continue to simmer for 30 minutes, stirring frequently.
Sauce may be thin; add enough of the water/cornstarch mixture to give sauce the desired consistency.
