Peach Barbecue Sauce recipe

|900 g||peaches, fresh or canned|
|1 clove(s)||garlic, crushed|
|2 tbsp||Dijon mustard|
|3 tbsp||lemon juice|
|1 tbsp||Worcestershire sauce|
|¼ tsp||black pepper|
|200 g||brown sugar|
|180 ml||maple syrup|
|2 tbsp||cornstarch, dissolved in water|
Purée peaches in a blender until smooth.
Mix cornstarch with a little water.
Combine all ingredients in a large saucepan and cook over low heat, stirring occasionally. Continue to simmer for 30 minutes, stirring frequently.
Sauce may be thin; add enough of the water/cornstarch mixture to give sauce the desired consistency.
