400 g | flour |
150 g | castor sugar |
1 pinch(es) | salt |
1 medium | egg |
Instructions
Pate sucree is a sweet, slightly crumbly short crust pastry. This recipe forms the basis for a lot of variations on the theme.Cut butter into small pieces. Using the dough hook of your mixer combine with the other ingredients to form a smooth pastry. Do not mix too much as the pate sucree can become too hard.
Wrap in cling wrap and chill for at least an hour. Roll out and cut out cookies. Bake at 180ºC for 15 minutes.
