Pasta with nuts and bacon recipe details
Ingredients
100 g | celeriac, diced |
1 | onions, chopped |
100 g | bacon, diced |
400 g | small pasta |
salt and freshly ground black pepper | |
75 g | walnuts, chopped and toasted |
2 tbsp | oil |
1 tbsp | sugar |
200 g | single cream |
250 ml | vegetable stock |
½ bunch(es) | parsley, chopped |
Instructions
Cook the pasta in salted water until al dente.In a saucepan, heat the oil and fry the bacon until crispy. Take out the bacon and drain on kitchen paper. Fry the onions and the celeriac until lucent. Sprinkle with the sugar and cook until caramelized. Deglaze with the stock and the cream and cook over low heat for a few minutes. Season to taste the sauce with salt and pepper.
Drain the pasta and add to the sauce, together with the parsley and the nuts. Toss until all is well distributed. Serve sprinkled with the bacon.
