Parsley lemon popovers recipe details
Ingredients
240 ml | milk |
2 large | eggs, whites only |
1 large | egg |
80 g | flour |
40 g | whole wheat flour |
¼ tsp | salt |
15 g | fresh parsley, chopped |
1 tsp | grated lemon rind |
1 clove(s) | garlic, minced |
2 tsp | butter, melted |
Instructions
Combine milk, egg and egg whites in a bowl and stir well until blended. Let stand for 30 minutes.Preheat oven to 180°C.
Combine flours and salt, stirring with a whisk.
Gradually add flour mixture to milk mixture, always keeping stirring well with a whisk. Add parsley, rind and minced garlic.
Grease 6 popover cups with a bit of butter or use cooking spray. Divide batter evenly among prepared popover cups and bake for 40 minutes or until golden. Serve immediately.
