Parma ham stuffed pork rolls recipe details
Ingredients
1 kg | potatoes, peeled and quartered |
salt and freshly ground black pepper | |
8 large | pork escalopes, thin cut |
8 slice(s) | Parma ham |
½ bunch(es) | parsley, chopped |
½ bunch(es) | chives, chopped |
200 ml | milk |
4 tbsp | mustard |
2 tbsp | oil |
2 tbsp | butter |
nutmeg |
Instructions
Cook the potatoes in salted water until done..Spread the escalopes with the mustard and top with the ham. Roll up and tighten with tooth picks or kitchen yarn. Season the outside with salt and pepper.
In a pan heat the oil and fry the rolls over high heat until golden brown and crispy all around. Reduce the heat to low and cook turning frequently for 6-8 minutes.
Drain the cooked potatoes and mash with milk and butter. Season to taste with salt, pepper and nutmeg. Stir in the chives and the parsley.
Serve the herb mashed potatoes together with the pork rolls.
