Panna cotta with raspberry sauce recipe details
Ingredients
500 ml | single cream |
50 g | sugar |
1 | vanilla pod |
3 sheet(s) | gelatin |
400 g | raspberries |
Instructions
In a saucepan heat the cream. Scratch out the pulp of the vanilla pod and add pulp and pod to the cream. Add 50g sugar. Bring to a soft boil and cook over low-medium heat for 15 minutes. Take from heat and remove the vanilla pod.Soak the gelatin for 5 minutes in cold water. Squeeze out the gelatin and dissolve in the cream. Pour the cream into 4 ramekins, let cool down and place into the fridge overnight.
In a bowl add 20g of sugar to the raspberries. Puree the raspberries with a hand blender. Check if sweet enough and add more sugar if necessary.
Pour some raspberry sauce onto dessert plates. Dip the ramekins with the outside briefly into very hot water. With a sharp knife, loosen the panna cotta from the edges of the ramekins and gently turn over onto the raspberry sauce. Garnish with more raspberry sauce.
