Overnight coffee cake recipe details
- Ingredients
- 3/4 cup white sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 2/3 cup oleo
- 2 eggs
- 2 cups flour
- 1/2 salt
- 1 teaspoon soda
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 cup buttermilk
- Topping
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup chopped nuts
- 3/4 cup chopped dates
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
Cream sugars and oleo in large bowl. Add eggs and beat well. In separate bowl sift dry ingredients; add to creamed mixture, alternating with buttermilk. Pour into greased and floured 9 x 13-inch pan. Mix topping ingredients. Sprinkle over batter. Cover; refrigerate overnight. Bake next morning at 350 degrees for 25 to 35 minutes.
