Ingredients
300 g | carrots |
3 | shallots |
3 clove(s) | garlic |
1 | green chili pepper |
some | chili powder |
salt | |
4 tbsp | soy sauce |
2 tbsp | water |
some | oil |
Instructions
Cut the carrots into matchsticks. Slice shallots and chili, crush the garlic.Heat some oil in a wok and fry the onion with the garlic and the chili. Add the carrots and let cook while stirring. Add the soy sauce mixed with water and let cook covered for approximately 5 minutes. Uncover and season with salt and chili powder. Cook for 2-3 more minutes and serve.
note:
The word “wortel” is not Indonesian, it is Dutch and means root vegetable or carrot.
