Orange kumquat sauce recipe details
Ingredients
8 | kumquats |
80 g | sugar |
200 ml | orange juice, freshly pressed |
100 ml | tangerine juice, freshly pressed |
1 tbsp | Campari |
some | lemon balm, finely chopped |
Instructions
Wash the kumquats and slice them as thin as possible.In a saucepan, allow the sugar to caramelise until light yellow. Add orange juice and tangerine juice. Add sliced kumquats and allow the mixture to boil until syrupy. Pour in Campari to taste.
Before serving stir in the lemon balm.
Serve hot or cold.
