Ingredients
4 | kumquats |
1 tbsp | sugar |
½ tbsp | orange zest |
500 ml | water |
4 sprig(s) | watercress, as decoration |
clotted cream or double cream |
Instructions
Peel and segment the kumquats. Place the peel and fruit into a saucepan with the orange zest, water and sugar and cook gently until boiling. Reduce heat to simmer and cook for a further 15 minutes.Remove kumquat peel with a slotted spoon and serve immediately, with a dash of cream and a sprig of watercress
