Kumquat soup recipe details
Ingredients
4 kumquats |
1 tbsp sugar |
half tbsp orange zest |
500 ml water |
4 sprig(s) watercress, as decoration |
clotted cream or double cream |
Instructions
Peel and segment the kumquats.
Place the peel and fruit into a saucepan with the orange zest, water and sugar and cook gently until boiling.
Reduce heat to simmer and cook for approximately another 15 minutes.
Remove kumquat peel with a slotted spoon and serve immediately, with a dash of cream and a sprig of watercress.
Enjoy the nice soup!
