Ingredients

2 piece(s) oranges
½  vanilla pod
8 piece(s) kumquats
700 ml schnapps (Vodka or Korn)
100 ml orange juice, freshly pressed
120 g white candy

Instructions

Fillet the oranges and dice. Split the vanilla pod.

Put orange fillets, kumquats, schnapps, orange juice, vanilla pod and the candied sugar in a bottle or jar with tight-fitting lid. Let steep for 6 weeks in a dark place at room temperature.

Finally filter the infusion into bottles.

Option:
You can also add 2 star anise for a nice winterly taste.
