Orange diamonds recipe details
Ingredients
80 g | butter |
80 g | sugar |
1 medium | egg |
40 g | candied orange peel |
1 tsp | freshly grated orange peel |
1 tsp | freshly grated lemon peel |
150 g | flour |
1 tbsp | Grand Marnier, optional |
For the Glaze: | |
80 g | icing sugar |
2 tbsp | Grand Marnier |
juice of 1/2 orange | |
fresh orange peel |
Instructions
Preheat oven to 170°C.Mix all ingredients for the biscuits together and beat until smooth. Chill dough for 30 minutes, then roll into a rectangle. Then cut out diamonds.
Bake for 7-10 minutes.
Mix all ingredients together for glaze and brush it on while cookies are still warm.
