This is a seriously easy ticket out of the dog-house, should you ever need one! Toss this in the slow-cooker in the morning, and when the family comes home at dinner time, it’s all ready to go – plus the house smells like you’ve been slaving away all day, when really you haven’t done much at all!
Ready in: 8 hours 15 mins
Ingredients
Serves: 5- 2 pounds boneless chuck roast
- 1/2 bag baby carrots
- 6-8 red potatoes (cut in 1/2)
- 1 whole yellow onion (sliced or chunked)
- 1 (10 ounce) can French Onion soup
- 1 (10 ounce) can Cheddar cheese soup
- 1 (10 ounce) can cream of mushroom soup
- generous splash Kitchen Bouquet (optional, for color only)
Preparation method
Prep: 15 mins | Cook: 8 hours1. Drop the roast into the crock pot. Add carrots, potatoes and onions on top.
2. In a separate bowl, mix 3 soups (just from the can, no adding water or milk) and the Kitchen Bouquet if desired.
3. Pour the soup on top of the roast/veggies in the crock pot – cook for 8-12 hours on low.
