Nectarine cobbler recipe details
Ingredients
700 g | nectarines, sliced |
200 g | sugar |
2 medium | eggs, yolks only, beaten |
For the topping: | |
100 g | flour |
1 ¼ tsp | baking powder |
6 tbsp | sugar |
¼ tsp | salt |
6 tbsp | butter |
120 ml | milk |
2 medium | eggs, whites only, beaten |
Instructions
Preheat oven to 180°C.Toss fruit with sugar and stir in egg yolks. Place into a buttered pan and sprinkle with cinnamon.
In a bowl, combine flour, baking powder, sugar and salt and toss lightly to mix. Add butter and mix with an electric mixer until crumbly. Add milk, keep stirring until smooth. Then fold in egg whites.
Spoon mixture over fruit and bake for 25 to 30 minutes.
