Ingredients
Serves: 6- 2 eggs
- 1 1/2 pounds ground beef
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1/2 (10.75 ounce) can condensed tomato soup
- 1 tablespoon dried oregano leaves
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1 cup bread crumbs
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1/4 cup ketchup
Preparation method
Prep: 20 mins | Cook: 1 hour1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
2. Beat the eggs in a mixing bowl, then add the beef, milk, and tomato soup. Season with oregano, paprika, salt and pepper and mix well. Sprinkle with the bread crumbs, and mix again until thoroughly blended. Pack into a loaf pan, then spread with the ketchup.
3. Bake in the preheated oven until a meat thermometer inserted into the center reads at least 160 degrees F. It will take between an hour and 1 hour 15 minutes to cook.
