Nacho sliders recipe details
Mini-burgers seasoned with a suite of Mexican spices, topped with beans and crushed chips for a meaty snack.

Ingredients
Serves: 8- 1 (15 ounce) can spicy refried beans
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 1 1/2 pounds ground beef
- 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon ancho powder
- 1/2 tablespoon ground cumin
- 1/2 tablespoon ground coriander
- 1/2 tablespoon sweet smoked paprika
- Salt and pepper
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 24 tortilla chips, coarsely crushed
- 2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese
Preparation method
Prep: 15 mins | Cook: 10 mins1. Pour beans into a saucepan and keep warm over medium heat.
2. Combine ketchup, ground beef, onion, garlic, chile powder, cumin, coriander, paprika, salt, and pepper in a bowl. Form into 8 patties.
3. Pour olive oil into a large skillet and set over medium-high heat. Cook patties in hot oil for about 5 minutes, flipping midway through cooking time, until well-browned.
4. Preheat broiler.
5. Place patties on a baking sheet; spread beans on top of each patty, then pat some of the crushed tortilla chips on top. Sprinkle with cheese. Arrange slider buns cut-side up on the same baking sheet.
6. Broil for 1 to 2 minutes to melt the cheese and toast the buns. Place patties in slider buns and serve.
