Mustard and wine sauce for chicken recipe details
Ingredients
some | olive oil |
2 clove(s) | garlic, minced |
1 medium | shallot, chopped |
120 ml | dry white wine |
200 g | leek, sliced |
3 tbsp | Dijon mustard |
60 ml | single cream |
salt and pepper, to taste |
Instructions
Sauté garlic and shallot in oil, 1 minute. Add wine. Cover and simmer for about 5 minutes. until tender, about 15 minutes.Add sliced leeks, toss and cook briefly. Cover and cook over medium heat for 3 minutes.
Stir in mustard and cream. Stir and season with salt and pepper, to taste.
Serve as sauce over chicken or cook chicken pieces directly with the sauce. Add chicken before adding the leeks.
