Leeks starter recipe details
Ingredients
10 medium | leeks, trimmed, sliced |
120 ml | olive oil |
200 ml | water |
1 tbsp | tomato paste |
1 tsp | sugar |
lemon juice of 1 lemon | |
fresh parsley, chopped | |
salt and pepper, to taste |
Instructions
Place leeks, oil, water, lemon juice, tomato paste and sugar in a deep sauce or frying pan.Season to taste and cook, covered for about 15 minutes, until the leeks are very tender.
To Serve sprinkle with parsley.
