Mushroom rice recipe details
Ingredients
280 g | rice |
450 g | button mushrooms, sliced |
900 ml | water |
1 tsp | lemon juice |
50 g | butter |
5 tbsp | Cheddar cheese, grated |
Instructions
Melt the butter in a large frying pan, add the mushrooms, lemon juice and add the rice and stir. Cook for 3 minutes stirring constantly.Add the water and bring to the boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 20-25 minutes until rice is tender.
Stir the cheddar cheese into the rice and serve at once.
