Mushroom pat with walnuts recipe details
Ingredients
some | oil |
1 medium | onion, chopped |
600 g | white mushrooms |
150 g | walnuts |
30 ml | cognac |
salt and pepper, to taste | |
chili flakes, to taste | |
½ | lemon, juice |
Instructions
Heat the oil in a skillet and brown the onion. Add the sliced mushrooms and the lemon juice. Season to taste.Sauté the mushrooms until they become soft. Transfer into food processor and add the cognac and the walnuts. Purée to desired thickness.
Transfer into small dish and refrigerate for 2 hours. Can be frozen. Serve with Baguette or Ciabatta bread.
