Mulled wine recipe details
Ingredients
350 ml | water |
120 g | sugar |
4 | cloves |
2 stick(s) | cinnamon |
1 bottle(s) | red wine |
150 ml | orange liqueur |
2 | lemons, sliced |
slice(s) | of oranges and lemons, or decoration |
Instructions
In a large pot boil the water, spices and sugar together.Add the sliced lemons, stir and leave to stand for 15-20 minutes.
Then add the wine and the orange liqueur. Heat up but do not boil and stir occasionally.
Strain into glasses and serve hot with the lemon and orange slices on the rim of the glass as decoration.
