Moorish skewers recipe details
Ingredients
400 g | pork fillet |
½ tsp | cumin |
1 pinch(es) | cayenne pepper |
1 tbsp | paprika powder |
1 clove(s) | garlic |
4 tbsp | olive oil |
Instructions
Cut the meat into 1cm slices and thread them onto skewers.In a shallow plate, mix the oil with cumin, cayenne pepper, paprika powder and garlic. Marinate the meat for 2 hours in the refrigerator.
Fry the meat in a grill pan and season with salt and pepper. Serve warm or cold.
Note:
The Moores didn’t eat pork, but it is likely that the tapa is called moorish because the Moors brought the kebab skewers to Spain.
