Ingredients
175 g | margarine |
150 g | icing sugar |
2 | eggs |
3 tbsp | coffee liqueur |
6 g | instant espresso powder |
75 g | ground almonds |
2 tbsp | cocoa powder |
175 g | all-purpose flour |
125 g | dark couverture |
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 200°C.
Mix margarine, icing sugar and eggs until creamy. Mix together instant espresso powder and coffee liqueur until smooth, stir in the almonds and combine with the margarine mixture. Sieve flour with cocoa powder over the cream and fold in.
Fill the dough into a piping bag with a medium-sized, star-shaped nozzle. Line a baking tray with parchment paper and extrude stripes of 5 cm on the tray. Place the bars well apart, because the dough will extend.
Bake in the preheated oven for approximately 8 minutes.
Melt the couverture and dip each bar half into the chocolate. Allow the bars to cool completely on a wire rack.
