Mixed berries sorbet recipe details
Ingredients
800 g | mixed berries, strawberries, raspberries, blackberries, blueberries |
1 | orange, juiced |
1 | lemon, juiced |
225 g | sugar |
150 ml | water |
Instructions
Mix the berries with orange and lemon juice and leave to infuse over night.Then push the berries with the juice through a sieve to remove the seeds.
Pour the sugar and the water into a saucepan and boil for 5 minutes until it becomes a syrup. Leave to cool for 1 hour.
Now stir the syrup into the berries puree and mix well. Pour it into a freezer-proof container and freeze for 1 hour.
Remove from the freezer and stir with a fork until smooth. Return to the freezer. Repeat 3 times then let it freeze for 5 hours.
