Miss daisy’s pumpkin bread, recipe Rating: 4.6

Ingredients
4 cups sugar
One 29-ounce can pumpkin
3 eggs
1 cup vegetable oil
5 cups flour
2 teaspoons cinnamon
2 teaspoons ground cloves
2 cups chopped walnuts
2 cups chopped dates
Instructions:

Preheat oven to 350. Mix sugar, pumpkin, eggs, and oil together in a large bowl. Gently stir in dry ingredients just until moist. Fold in nuts and dates until evenly distributed. Pour batter into 2 greased and floured loaf pans. Bake at 350 degrees for about 1 hour or until a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.

Serve with orange or honey butter or spreadable, whipped cream cheese.
