Mincemeat teacake recipe details
Ingredients
500 g | prepared mincemeat |
250 g | flour |
100 g | caster sugar |
1 ½ tsp | baking powder |
½ tsp | bicarbonate of soda |
½ tsp | salt |
1 medium | egg |
60 ml | vegetable oil |
1 tbsp | grated orange zest |
2 tbsp | orange juice |
Instructions
Preheat oven to 180°C and grease a 23x13cm loaf tin.Mix together the egg, oil, orange zest, orange juice and mincemeat. Blend well.
Combine flour, sugar, baking powder, bicarbonate of soda and salt.
Combine both mixtures and mix until moist. Pour into prepared tin and bake for 1 hour.
Cool on a wire rack.
